2. Click on the “Orders” tab.
3. Find the order you would like to refund and click on it.
4. Scroll down to the “Refund” button and click it.
5. Enter the amount you would like to refund in the Refund Amount field and click “Refund Order.”

What Happens When A Refund Is Processed In SamCart?
When you process a refund in SamCart, the following things happen:
1. The customer’s subscription is immediately canceled.
2. The customer is removed from any automated email sequences they were in.
3. The customer’s access to any membership sites or content they had access to through their subscription is revoked.
4. A record of the refund is added to the customer’s activity history in their account details section.
5. The transaction shows up as “Refunded” in your stripe account and in your SamCart account under the “Transactions” tab.
6. You will see the refund show up as “-XX” in your daily/weekly earnings report email from SamCart.
Additional Notes About Refunds And Subscriptions In SamCart
When a customer initiates a refund request, SamCart will automatically attempt to process the refund through the original payment gateway. If the refund is successful, the customer will see the refund in their account immediately.
If the refund fails, you will need to issue a manual refund through your payment gateway.
Subscriptions can be canceled at any time by the customer from their My Account page. When a subscription is canceled, no further payments will be collected, and the customer will have access to content/products until the end of their current billing period.
At that time, their access will expire.
It is not possible to cancel a subscription and issue a refund for any portion of it. All refunds for subscriptions must be processed manually through your payment gateway.

How To Find The Subscription In Your Samcart Account
First login to your SamCart account. Once logged in, hover over the “Account” tab in the top right corner and click on “Subscriptions.”
